36 in. octagonal to round barrel with dovetailed block and blade front-sight, and quadrant rear-sight the action body signed on the lefts "J. J. SCHLAEPFER / GLARUS" the rifle is fitted with double set triggers and the action operating lever formed in a double scroll for grip when shooting, two piece walnut stock the forend secured to the barrel by flat keys or wedges, the butt with a cheek-rest and an iron butt-cap, rod missing.
